Description
This Single-handed Bi- Lobed Anthropomorphic sword is my take on a La Tene Celtic sword.
The lenticular section 25″ blade The Blade is made from a 5 bar construction of wrought iron, steel and patternwelded bars. The edges are Carbon steel and then there are two intermittent twists of patternweld running either side of the wrought iron core.
The Guard and pommel are cast in Bronze and are highly polished. The handle is burned ash and has a garnet mounted on one side and 3 garnets on the other.
The scabbard is felt lined leather over wood core construction, with flowing ridges running along the scabbard.
There is a belt bridge and chape made from bronze, there are garnets mounted at the tip and in the belt bridge.
