Description
This is a 30″ long sword blade with Lenticular section. It would be an appropriate blade for a broad and sturdy early Migration period or Saxon blade. The blade is constructed from 3 twisted core bars showing alternate straight and twisted sections . the 3 steels used in its construction can be seen as bright layers and 2 darker shades. There is a high layer damascus steel edge .

The Mild steel tang is lap welded to the blade as per original pieces and has been left long to allow for different handle lengths.
The blade weighs 1lb 12oz POB is 10″ into blade.

• Blade material: 15N20 carbon steel, CS80 Carbon steel, EN42J carbon steel, . mild steel Tang.
