Here we have this hand and a half bastard sword with a 300 layer random pattern damascus blade. The blade is forged from 300 layer random pattern damascus (made by myself) and the pattern has been forged to get an undulating pattern down the blade (especially in the fuller.) the blade has a wonderful deep etch to it the pattern changes as you look at in in the light.

The blade pattern is developed by the individual hammer blows that went into making it. The guard and silicone bronze pommel are all forged to shape before being turned ground and finished the pommel is in the form of a rondel scentstopper. The blade is diamond ground around the fuller and transitions to a convexed diamond grind towards the tip. The blade has great stiffness and a good presence. The handle is a wood core with twine bindings and then a leather wrap.

I would be happy to make a scabbard for this sword please enquire for a price.
