Truly the seax of a lord or a king. The blade is constructed from 6 bars of steel, wrought iron at the spine and 2 bars of twisted layers 2 bars of serpent pattern and then an edge of random pattern damascus. Using the same techniques that are used in the making of legendary Saxon swords. The serpent in the steel convoluted snake pattern in this blade is based on a pattern in a Saxon sword in the vaults in the British museum. The burl walnut handle has silver fittings and gold highlights with garnets on the silver ferrule and butt cap . The Oak tanned leather sheath is adorned with silver gold and garnet fittings.
