HAND FORGED DAMASCUS KITCHEN KNIVES 
These kitchen knives are made from Hand forged Damascus steel (made by myself). The steels I use are 15n20 and 20c from Uddeholm in Sweden. These two steels are stacked and forge welded and then folded to reach the desired number of layers. The blades have (roughly) 180 to 200 layers and each Pattern is uniquely beautiful and is caused by the hammer blows during forging moving one layer of steel past another.I then hand grind the blades in either a flat grind or hollow grind and employ a 6 stage heat treatment (3 normalizations, harden and double temper and differential temper) to ensure that they will do their job of cutting to the optimum. I like kitchen knives to be thin! and to cut well! I finish these knives razor sharp and they are an easy mix of steel to re sharpen back to that condition. I have made these knives to be used in the kitchen and as such they will do a wonderful job of cutting and slicing. They are one off hand made items and should give a lifetime of service if you look after them.  The following prices are for Damascus kitchen knives with a magnolia and compressed bamboo ferrule. For Ho wood and buffalo horn ferrule add £10 to each knife.

My two passions in life are the forge and food and I hope that these knives condense these two loves into something that can be enjoyed and passed down from generation to generation.
I offer a guarantee against faulty manufacture for the lifetime of the knives. This does not cover abusive use of the knives or wear and tear. The handle materials on these knives are natural and as such, must be looked after. These knives will not respond well to being left soaking in a sink or (and it pains me to even think of it) put in a dishwasher. I would consider both of these actions as knife abuse. Use them, clean them, dry them and they will remain beautiful for years to come.
